American Writer Museum
The American Writer Museum takes place in the heart of the Downtown of Chicago on the second floor of a building located on Michigan Ave. Unfortunately, that building does not have any advertising sign on a street, for this reason, you need to pay attention when you are looking that because you could easily be lost. The crew from Museum is friendly and respectful and they give you all the instruction that you need during your journey.
The American Writer Museum was actually the first museum I have read most of the chart in its exhibitions. At first, I read many writers in the timeline walls since Colonial Vision to modern concepts and I found out how those writers made details descriptions about different time periods using romantic, heroism, religions, patriotist senses and also modern’s concept such as vegan. Them, I exited when I was in front of word waterfall and I got some great phrases from there, in particular, “O, let me land be a land where liberty is crowned with no false patriotic wreath, But opportunity is real, and life is free, Equality is in the air we breathe”. My aha moment happened when I found out what was the first book sold by Amazon? because it was a book about Computer Models of the Fundamental Mechanisms of Thought, I hope to do not read that book for a long time.
In addition, I really enjoyed the section named “History of the day”, although I could not find a funny history and I only read phrases like “help me...” or “My name is”, I will not forget the great experience I had typing on the old keyboard from the typewriter. One of my first thought of that keyboard was how hard it was to write an essay to English 100. I plenty sure that I never change the keyboard from my age. I took my time in this section because I appreciated the challenges that writers needed overcame to write by typing.
To conclude, The American Writer Museum is a fine place to spend the weekend and I have the opportunity to get another point of the history around the world, furthermore, it is pleasure to me to earn many voices from Chicago’s writer too. Finally, you make sure to come with desires to read.
