I would like to share about my experiences from American Writers Museum. To be honest, I have never had any opportunity to study and research from a writing museum before. I was really impressed by their exhibition and collection about historical celebrities. I had chance to read about famous quote, take some information picture, and type my story on classical typewriter machine. This was an amazing memory about museum.
1. American Voices
Inside Museum, my favorite place was “The American Voices”. I chose Abraham Lincoln who was a great President and reputable politician of American history. He was raised in poverty and self-taught. In 16th U.S president, Abraham became an ambitious politician and a masterful speechwriter. Before his reputation blew up, he also was a store owner, military captain, lawyer, and congressman. President Abraham succeeded in liberating slaves and stopping the civil war in America in 16th. In his entire life, he was nonstop studying and learning. “He read all the books that he could lay his hands on”, His stepmother, Sarah Bush Lincoln remembered. He took note every passages or quotes as well in his handbook to collect. By his studying talented, he became a leader, a politician, a master writing, an author and a greatest President in the world.

3. The typewriter.
This the most interesting in the museum. It was really hard to type on it because this machine kind of old now. Typewriter showed me how hard to create a text back in the day and make me feel more respectful to literature productions in history. I typed my experiences in my first field trip and how I was impressed by celebrities and stories.
4. Quote of American Masterpiece.
5. The Word Play.
I created my own sentence about love.
6. Interacting with in the Mind Of A Writer Section
In Mind of a writer section, I loved typing on typewriter and playing with tech word play. By the way, I also took the picture of James Baldwin who was my favorite writer.
