Do you know where to find the essence of literature?

Last Thursday, we went to the American Writers Museum with my classmates and another class. I have to say it was a wonderful trip! I looked over lots of stuffs that I've never seen before.

The most interesting one is the old-fashioned typewriter, and I also used it to type something. The feeling of typing is just amazing! Besides, there was a guitar belonging to the great singer-songwriter, Bob Dylan, who was famous for folk music and won the Nobel prize in Literature. Moreover, there is one stuff that contains with the truth or ideas. It shows a short story and offers you 3 options as I showed in the following picture of the lobster. This is actually a test which tests if you are an environmentalist or about the ethical and moral issues. Also, there are plenty of fantastic things, such as waterfall with words, American voices, bookmark and so on.

I really enjoy this impressive trip which helps me to know lots of famous writers, gives me a basic understanding about literature and folk music, and provides me with the funny games. I would like go there again if I have the chance. Lastly, if someone would like to go there, I highly recommend you to look through the history of the American literature, which is an easy way to help you build the basic understanding of the literature. In addition, I also recommend you to go to see the waterfall, as there are lots of words to show others experiences or lessons. The visitors could deeply analyze or get inspired from them.
