Jessica's Reflection about American Writers Museum

I have never been to this museum before, so I was really excited to visit here with all my classmates. I'm not very into reading so I know almost nothing about American writers. I love reading in my own language, but I couldn't find any Chinese writers here. This made me feeling boring at first until I found the hall of Bob Dylan.

 I read all the information about him in the gallery and googled him at home. I found that he was a really great musician, and also a singer-songwriter, author, poet, and visual artist. I was very interested in his music video "Don't look back". I thought he was the first one using the form of writing lyrics on the paper and then changing the pages one by one. It was really cool at that time and even for nowadays.

I also had my first experience with typewriter. It looked really cool and old school.When I saw it, the lyrics of my favorite song--"Goodbye" by Post Malone just came up to my mind, so I typed the first paragraph of it. It was really hard and slow to type with it. I think that's why we need the technology developed day by day.

Overall, the experience in American Writers Museum was enjoyable. The word water fall was cool and amazing. By the way, I also took some bookmarks from the museum. I think I will start reading some books writing by this two writers today. I hope we can have more experiences like this in this class in the future.
